Who cares what the church thinks? Science and human progress have brought us far beyond what the church ever could.
Right?
Yet wars still rage. Political division is at a high. Economic collapse is close. And death still comes for us all.
We know that one day we'll face our Creator.
The church is the only community able to equip you to meet Him, because the church is where God is at work to reconcile us to Himself.

The church is more like an echo chamber composed of power-hungry self-preservers. It's a toxic community of condemnation and abuse dressed in the language of love.

What wouldn't make sense is to leave the one community that Jesus is building.

If Jesus loves the church enough to give His own life for it, and it's the very community where He places those for whom He died, then the church is necessary.
