Hawk Fire Community Relief
When our neighbors hurt, we respond. When our community is in need, we show up.
The Hawk Fire has left a devastating mark on the community we call home.
Living Stones North Valleys is incredibly grateful that our church campus was spared. Our building remains standing, safe, and without fire or smoke damage. But being spared does not mean we are untouched.
This is our community.
These are our neighborhoods.
These are our friends, families, coworkers, classmates, first responders, business owners, and neighbors.
And as followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that when people around us are hurting, the Church should be among the first to step forward with compassion, generosity, and tangible help. Scripture calls us to “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2, ESV) and reminds us, “let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18, ESV).
This is an opportunity to put those words into action.
- 🔥 More than 15,000 acres burned in the Hawk Fire.
- 🏠 47 homes were destroyed, with 8 additional homes sustaining major damage.
- 🏢 1 business was destroyed by the fire.
- 🚨 Up to 90,000 residents were impacted by evacuation orders and warnings at the height of the emergency.
- 🚗 Thousands of residents experienced displacement and disruption, including evacuations and power outages.
- ❤️ Families across the North Valleys faced the uncertainty of leaving their homes without knowing what they would return to.
