About the Role
The Director of Student Ministries will lead Living Stones’ efforts to disciple and develop middle and high school students into mature followers of Christ. This is a full-time leadership role that requires building a gospel-centered ministry marked by relational discipleship, biblical teaching, mission, leadership development, and outreach.
The right candidate will be a relational, joyful, organized, and visionary leader with a clear calling to student discipleship, the ability to teach the Bible faithfully, and a passion for partnering with families and equipping leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a long-term ministry strategy aligned with Living Stones’ mission and values
- Lead weekly middle school and high school gatherings
- Build and empower a team of adult and student leaders
- Be a consistent presence on campus at Reno High School (at least once a week)
- Ensure every student is known, cared for, and discipled through relationships and small groups
- Lead annual mission trips and quarterly community-building events
- Partner with parents through communication and equipping opportunities
- Manage ministry administration: budget, safety, communication, and records

- A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
- Clear calling to student discipleship and pastoral care
- Alignment with Living Stones’ core teaching distinctives and doctrines
- Proven experience in leadership, teaching, and volunteer development
- Relational, organized, adaptable, and joyful under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree (ministry-related preferred) or equivalent experience
- Gather, self starter and mobilizer
- Relational, fun and organized visionary leader
- Loves and pursues the lost through intentional evangelism and relational outreach
- Leader of leaders who motivates, equips, and unites teams to take action
