Administering with Honor

Apr 26, 2026    David Beck

In week three of "Pocket Change," Pastor David preaches from 2 Corinthians 8:16–24 to answer the uncomfortable but necessary question of how Christians can trust the church with their money. Framing the issue through the grace of Christ in 2 Corinthians 8:9–10, he argues that the church must be accountable both for the sake of its witness and because its leaders are not above sin. By walking through Paul's description of Titus and the two brothers, the sermon shows that trustworthy leadership is marked by love for the church, faithfulness to the gospel, and proven earnestness in serving well. The message closes by urging believers to judge church leadership by how it follows Jesus and to trust that God Himself will hold His church to account and provide for its needs.
