For All People

Aug 16, 2026    Gabe Dye

Gabe Dye continues Living Stones’ “This Is Us” series with the core value that the gospel is for all people. From Luke 24:44–48, he shows that Jesus fulfilled the Scriptures through his suffering and resurrection so that repentance and forgiveness could be proclaimed to every nation: Christ denied heaven’s privileges to bring sinners near, turns rebels into sons and daughters, and followed the Father’s will all the way to the cross. Because Jesus went first, Luke 9:23–25 calls everyone who comes after him to deny self, take up the cross daily, and follow him—dying to comfort, approval, success, and sin while seeing others as God’s image-bearers and carrying the gospel locally and throughout the world. Hosea’s pursuit of Gomer pictures Christ’s costly, relentless love and returns the sermon to its central question: Is Jesus worth our time, commitment, and sacrifice?
